Development[edit]

As far as I'm aware, devo has been on hiatus for over a year, judging by the year old forum post and the absence of the author for over half a year from said forums. Nevertheless, it continues to be very playable. Also, I couldn't find Deathbane's username on the wiki, and if anyone knows it feel free to add it in. --Riloki 01:07, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Suggestions for Players[edit]

Since devo has come to a standstill and there are still holes, there are plenty of ways to customize the game to suit your desires. For example: In matgloss_stone_mineral_chaos.txt

[MATGLOSS_STONE:RED_WOADSTONE]
[NAME:red woadstone][COLOR:4:7:1][TILE:58]
[ITEM_SYMBOL:'*']
[VALUE:60]
[ENVIRONMENT:ALL_STONE:CLUSTER_SMALL:60]
[IGNITE_POINT:8000]
[MELTING_POINT:8001]
[BOILING_POINT:8002]

could be altered into a much more useful

[MATGLOSS_STONE:RED_WOADSTONE]
[NAME:red woadstone][COLOR:4:7:1][TILE:58]
[ITEM_SYMBOL:'*']
[VALUE:60]
[ENVIRONMENT:ALL_STONE:CLUSTER_SMALL:60]
[IGNITE_POINT:24000]
[MELTING_POINT:2450]
[BOILING_POINT:2500]

to have a chance to have a cluster or two of magma-proof rocks on any map lacking bauxite. (Just don't forget to add [REAGENT:1:STONE:NO_SUBTYPE:STONE:RED_WOADSTONE] to the economic items hack in reactions_all_economic --Riloki 01:07, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
