Hello! There is no need to "fix" double redirects on this site, we have an extension that forwards you along properly past the intermediate page. In fact, my understanding is that in many cases the double redirect is preferred when coming out of the main namespace. :Oh...the redirects kept stopping halfway when I used them in the search bar (e.g. "decorate" took me to "df2012:decorate" rather than "df2012:decoration"), so I figured they were accidents.
