He had, without anyone noticing, also acquired quite a collection of odd items from the stockpiles. After frantically working day and night in a craftdwarves workshop, he energed and proclaimed that he had completed '''Darudtathur''', "Climatescribes", the phyllite toy axe. It is encircled with bands of prase, chicken leather and horse bone. This object is adorned with hanging rings of llama wool and menaces with spikes of iron. On the item is an image of Morul Helmsskinned the dwarf and dwarves in phyllite. Morul Helmsskinned is surrounded by the dwarves. The artwork relates to the ascension of the dwarf Morul Helmsskinned to the position of queen of The Hammer of Jungles in 113. On the item is an image of alders in iron. On the item is an image of a square in horse bone. Despite such an odd mix off components, the artifact is a wonder to behold. Spring, 192
1st Granite, 192. A great endeavour is to be undertaken. I have asked that a suitable outcropping of rock, near the Forgotten Beasts, is to be hollowed. I will carve fortifications and we shall see how these beasts survive the bolts of our marksdwarves. Truly we shall pit Beast against good, dwarven steel.
10th Slate, 192. Oh glorious day! We have slain Rurast Reksaslur Gedorozor! The gigantic insect took many bolts, its high-pitched alien screams echoing through the second cavern. Finally, Urdim Ageshkadol Odroznog pierced the Beast's brain and it slumped to the ground, leaking ichor on the muddy soil. I have relieved the squad and they shall return after celebrating their victory. The festivities shall be short-lived but vigorous, as there are two more Beasts to fell. Success is a fickle mistress.
3rd Felsite, 192. Our victories keep mounting. Today, Solon Kolgembish felled Atkust Bax Smunstu and the giant dinosaur no longer threatens with its noxious vapours. The mead and brewed plump helmet beer shall flow freely tonight!
18th Felsite, 192. The elves showed up again today. Short of closing the doors on them, I saw a cage that caught my eye - inside was a giant desert scorpion. This immediately piqued my interest and we traded our surplus gems to them in exchange for the chitin-clad monstrosity. I wonder if it will be useful?
