Hi Khym Chanur,

Hi Khym Chanur,

In this game the correct plural actually is "dwarves".  You can see that from the line "[NAME:dwarf:dwarves:dwarven]" in the raws for Dwarf.  Toady's followed an unofficial fantasy convention that I think started with Tolkien, who similarly used "elves" instead of the formally correct "elfs".

:Also, the wiki rules say that, when the game uses a particular spelling of a term, the same spelling should be used on the wiki. In fact, Quietust actually had his bot replace all occurrences of "dwarfs" with "dwarves" a while back, and did some manual cleanup as well. --Ral 19:10, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

There really shouldn't be any pop up ads. I can have Briess look into it and see if it was something that wasn't supposed to be there, however, is it possible that you've been infected with some form of adware? == re: "Indent with space" box should be monospaced ==

Your browser's font settings must be ignoring the css, which for the &lt;pre&gt; tags definitely specifies monospace fonts (and is how I presume most people, myself included, on the wiki are seeing it). Are you using monobook (aka the default skin)? <span style="color:#8a4e4e">Emi</span> [[user_talk:Emi|<span style="color:#6a3e4e">[T]</span>]] 01:37, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

:What browser is that anyway? <span style="color:#8a4e4e">Emi</span> [[user_talk:Emi|<span style="color:#6a3e4e">[T]</span>]] 02:22, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
