Pro tip, take one copper ore and one [[cassiterite]] ore.  For one job and one fuel at a smelter, you get two bronze bars - and bronze is... um... 66/50 better than copper in combat, and worth a bit more.  And see [[DIY]].

:but this way I didn't need to build a smelter.  TINY change in time, but honestly I only needed one axe, the extra bronze bar would have sat in my stockpile 'till I got up to forging, and if my woodcutter gets ambushed by anything the copper axe can't kill, he's screwed if he has bronze or not.  It's not even recyclable to my military since I'll want something more powerful than bronze for my real fighters.  Thanks for the cassiterite tip though -- [[alloy]]s are good.  Note to self: take a longer look at that page. --[[User:Rowenlemmings|Rowenlemmings]]
