My clothesmaker will not make anything out of rope reed cloth (Baron cancels construct bag or whatever, needs 10000 plant cloth), but there are a ton of available rope reed cloths(not dumped, forbidden or owned), and he has no problem making stuff from pig tail cloth and silks. It might be because he's a Baron, but he performs his other job assignments without trouble at all.
