I'm not experiencing that "the hive will be deconstructed and returned to a stockpile". Being unfamiliar with wikis and new-ish to DF, I'm reluctant to simply change the article. :My bees stay alive inside their hives and nothing is destroyed when the honey is harvested. − | ::I've kept a close eye on the hives that are being collected from, and it does indeed kill all the bees in it, sometimes leaving behind honey bee remains at the site.
