Combined material value ?[edit]
The article says: "far more preferable for making object of value than its component parts". I do not see how making 1 bar of material value 5 is better than using 4 stones of value 2 each :/ You could use tin and copper ores as stones at craftsdwarf's workshop to make 12 crafts (rock mugs for example)... --Alpha 17:15, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

- Also not everyone would consider multiple crafts to be "objects of value". And for a given object Fine Pewter is still preferable.
