Breeding or non-breeding?[edit]
Text says they cannot breed while the table says they can. Is it only a copy-paste problem or maybe the data is wrong?

It might be because the raw doesn't have a defined [CHILD] tag. Compare it to some other egg layer like a turkey. --Bouchart (talk) 20:47, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
I've started a world in v0.42.03 LNP, and can confirm that alligator snapping turtles (along with giant snapping turtles) can in fact breed. Just like chickens, they need a nest box, and a male in the vicinity. I've got saves if necessary. LurukDatan 5 May 2016 (UTC)
- That's because the page text was copied over from v0.34. Back then a
[CHILD]tag was necessary to breed, however Toady removed that restriction in the v0.40 branch. The infobox, which is parsed directly from the raws, updated automatically; the article text did not.--Loci (talk) 19:22, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
