I think kennel is a building, not a workshop. It's not listed under the workshop menu. It's listed under the building menu. Mmkstarr (talk) 20:31, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

It's inconsistent with other buildings in that regard, but it appears that it's implemented as a workshop (according to DFHack), and it provides a place for dwarves to do jobs similar to other workshops. —Lethosor (talk) 21:41, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
