I prefer adventure mode over fortress mode
The incarnation of the world in which my Dwarves exsist is called "Lawii" (originally a typo for Hawaii but I thought it looked Dwarven)
The "Historical Events Left to Discover" always seems to hover around the 300 mark.
My best fortress is "Mineface" which lasted 4 years before I abandoned it when the population dropped to 2.
My record for keeping an adventurer alive is in the region of 4 days.
