Full list of dwarves

The trek has been long for the Sons of Avatar. Having been sent forth from the dwarven city of Rilemcerol, the dwarves Nukumi, Elevoni, Orvar, Caliclya, Karalin, Kuratha, and Rubedo have at last arrived at the site where the fortress of Angelpeace will be built. As day broke on the 1st of Granite, they emerged from the mountain pass to a cliffside overlooking a broad valley. A brook flowed through at the foot of the mountain, and it was decided that that would be location of their fortress.

Spring was mostly uneventful. The initial tunnels are dug, a trade depot and a handful of workshops are built, and the brook is walled off, creating a single point of entry. Temporary storerooms were carved out for the food and trade goods, which ended up meeting massive veins of iron and coal. By the time summer rolled around, all of the food had been moved into the fortress.

The first half of summer consisted of more work. The workshops were all moved inside, tables were set up for dining, beds were constructed for sleeping, and plans were laid for what will hopefully become the greatest fortress in all the world. In the middle of the season, a wave in migrants came, eager to join: Vegdrasil, Svein, Yudishthira, Totemitis, Citrinitas, Slotmane, and Vuslagena. With their help in the second half of summer, production rates increased dramatically, seeing the construction of the first phase of the fortress.

Autumn saw continued work on the first area of the fortress, which will ultimately serve as the meeting area of the fortress. In mid-Autumn, more migrants arrived: Lightstep, Lise, Zick, Kivanisth, Ascaron, Calithos, Anei, and Trister. And then, suddenly, Elevoni became possessed. Muttering to himself, he grabbed a nearby log and claimed the carpenter's workshop where he began frantically whittling and cutting away at it. Soon, he revealed the fruits of his labor: a legendary bed carved with kobolds that he called Etvuthkasith Nosim Stin, which translates to Scandalprowled the Kindnesses of Strife. Evidently, the spirit that possessed him was some sort of kobold lover. Because of the bed's awesomeness, however, it was given to Nukumi. Autumn also saw the long-awaited arrival of the dwarven caravan, carrying goods essential to the fortress's continued survival.

The caravan left in early winter, but trade was fruitful, having exchanged a few dozen of Kuratha and Elevoni's crafts for a considerable amount of food. The rest of the season was mostly uneventful. Construction was nearly complete on the first section of the fortress, and with a new year would come new plans...

As initial plans were laid for stage two of the grand fortress, a strange mood came over Vuslagena and he suddenly became very secretive. Grabbing a handful of materials and claiming one of the new craftsdwarf's workshops, he emerged a few days later with Thalales, a willow piccolo... Apparently it was intended to be purely decorative, as the bismuth bronze spikes covering it would make playing it impossible. As the season came to an end, a massive wave of migrants arrived to the fortress, nearly doubling its population, consisting of Isthian, Gyunikukaten, Aaramus, Morgreth, Ellesar, Leith, Drakorin, Tsevion, Mekamily, Meryt, Loxie, Deminine, Barac, Lution, Avanty, Kazuko, Snooch, Karylis, Lokelani, Zxeion, Valrynn, and Yny.

Summer initially saw the continuation of the grand fortress, with miners smoothing the floor for the bridges and digging into the throne room. And then, Citrinitas became possessed. A clothier's shop was hastily constructed so that she would have somewhere to create her masterpiece. Unfortunately, upon claiming it she began muttering that she needed cloth and leather, of which the fortress had none. Meanwhile, it was discovered that the fortress did not actually have any seeds that could be planted outside, and since Zxeion, Lightstep, and Karylis were standing around twiddling their thumbs they were sent to go forage. They returned soon after not with seeds, but with news that a goblin had kidnapped Yny. When asked why they didn't do anything to stop him, they suddenly exclaimed that they had seeds to gather and had to go immediately. And thus did summer come to an end...

Autumn began with Citrinitas, tired of not having any cloth to make her masterpiece, going insane and flying into a berserker rage. She was very slowly beaten to death by Barac, Avanty, Ellesar, Trister, and Lokelani. Leith and Aaramus also decided to help take down the insane dwarf, making the wonderfully brilliant decision of dropping their bow and axe respectively in order to hit him with their fists instead. But no sooner was his body unceremoniously dumped outside the fortress for the buzzards than Rubedo became possessed as well, claiming a mason's workshop and demanding shells, another non-existent commodity. Meanwhile Aaramus, fed up with the lack of booze, bedrooms, pet control, or a well, decided that Citrinitas's untimely death was the straw that broke her fragile psyche and began wandering the fortress in a melancholy, not speaking to anyone or doing anything. This was the state of the fortress when the yearly caravan arrived.

It took two months, but someone finally ate some stored shellfish, enabling Rubedo to begin work on his strange creation and not go on a murderous rampage. Lokelani went to trade with the dwarven caravan, which was expected to have brought a fresh supply of booze. As it turned out, however, they had only brought a single barrel of beer, a great disappointment to all. As a result a still was constructed so that the fortress could generate its own supply of booze. Even so, the caravan happily accepted more rock trinkets as well as Citrinitas's old clothes (which she obviously had no further use for) in exchange for a considerable supply of food. As the food was being hauled to the stockpile, Rubedo announced that he had finished his masterpiece: a magnetite armor stand adorned with the image of Nil Copperspiral, who was high general of the dwarves in the year 653. Rubedo decided to name it after himself. Meanwhile, Aaramus died of thirst, having had nothing to eat or drink since she helped kill Citrinitas. Fortress construction continued uninterrupted throughout most of the winter, and it seemed like things would be back to normal... Then Vegdrasil became possessed, gathered an assortment of rocks, gems, and bones, and went to work on a mysterious construction in the mason's workshop. He emerged soon after with yet another armor stand, muttering something about "better than Rubedo." This one was covered with spikes of bone and decorated with images of trees and bushes. As winter came to an end, a small group of goblins attacked, first kidnapping Valrynn and then slaughtering every last dwarf inside the fortress (and out) without so much as a scratch.
