Steel[edit]
Where did you get the idea that steel was the only magma-safe metal? Even in 0.28.181.40d, magma-safe buildings and furniture could be made from nickel, nickel silver, iron, and platinum, not to mention bauxite. Perhaps you were thinking of the old 2D version (0.23.130.23a, where steel was the only metal that could be used to build bridges over magma)? --Quietust 03:12, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
