Once, some goblins and humans teamed up to siege my fortress. After I defeated them, I looked at the stuff they were wearing, and saw a Human Leather Earring. According to the article, you can't butcher a human. So how did they get the leather? (unsigned comment by Stinhad Limarezum)

:You can't butcher humans, because its unacceptable to dwarves.  It is perfectly acceptable to goblins.  Similarly, you can't eat the flesh of your fallen enemies, but the elves have no such compunctions. --Squirrelloid 06:59, 18 January 2009 (EST)

::IIRC even if you play as goblins or elves you can't actually butcher or eat humanoids in fortress mode, that only happens in legends. --CoolMatthew 20:25, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

It says that if you gen the world with humans as [CIV_CONTROLLABLE] you may get bugs.  What are they?  I did that and it seems to be okay at least at the start.  OTOH I can't seem to make trap components.  Is that a bug?  This bug?  Or is it working as intended? --CoolMatthew 20:30, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
