I tried to storm a Demonic Fort in Adventure mode. This adventurer had slain a dragon wearing his starting gear (Iron mail) with a steel short sword. I went to the bottom of the fort, removed the weapon, and HFS appeared numbering at least 10. I held my own for a while, but one dwarf against 10 HFS does not end well for the dwarf, even with the Adamantine Short Sword. I managed to make two of them bleed out after I died, but that's it. I noticed that if you take the weapon while sneaking, the demons don't come up to attack you. Instead, you have to actually descend and engage them or come out of sneaking. Let this serve as a warning and advice to others. The curse of Adamantium is still strong. [[User:Psyence|Psyence]] 23:36, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Is this bug fixed? It doesn't seem to work in my game -[[Special:Contributions/92.228.73.201|92.228.73.201]] 14:24, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Seems so but you can see if the weapon is there by trying to link a lever to an Upright Spike/Spear. Worked as for me with a Adamantine Long Sword.
