− | It is not possible to | + | It is not possible to specify exactly what item will be encrusted, however the gem setter will normally grab the nearest item of that type, so some limited control over the process can be exerted by creating a one-tile stockpile right next to the workshop and adjusting its settings to match whatever item you wish to gem (for instance, a masterwork gold throne for your monarch, or low-quality clothing if you're training a novice gem setter) and set to take the items from your main stockpile. If you have only one or a few items that match the parameters, those items will be kept close at hand for the gem setter to work on. |
