Woodworker is a category profession for dwarves that work with wood, both harvesting and its subsequent processing into furniture or other items. Note that some wood-related skills, such as burning wood or crafting it, fall under the Farmer or Craftsdwarf category of professions instead.

An adult dwarf whose best skill is in this category and who has at least one other skill in this category whose level is more than half the level of the highest skill will be known as a "Woodworker", otherwise they will be known by the highest skill alone. For example, a dwarf who is a Talented (6) Bowyer and a Competent (3) Carpenter will be known as a Bowyer but will become a "Woodworker" once Carpentry reaches Skilled (4).
