Freezing/thawing ice[edit]
Using the weather controls in the arena and spawning water of varying depths, it appears that water that freezes into walls (i.e. 4/7 and deeper) always thaws into 7/7 water, but anything less (3/7 or below) produces the original water level when thawed.

Few quick question about DF weather system and its affect on gameplay:
- Is there any info on how the weather is determined? Things like how the next weather type is determined, is it random or affected by other parameters (like biome, seasons, temperature).
