No Wagons in Caravans

Has anyone seen the caravan arrive with wagons? I haven't seen it yet.

It is possible to get more than a single wagon at embark, if you embark with enough bulk. Try creating a world with 10000 embark points and then embarking with nothing but cheap stone. I've embarked with two.
