This article is about an older version of DF. |
Template:Elven Steel is one of the best materials for building weapons and armor. A fortress with a good steel production is going to have a lot of wealth with merchants, as products made with steel have a very high value.
Steel can be smelted at a Template:L by a Template:L with the Template:L labor activated.
Recipe
The recipe for two steel bars is as follows:
- one Template:L Template:L
- one Template:L bar
- one Template:L material
- two Template:L (one fuel for Template:L)
Starting from raw ores, in all you need:
- two iron ore
- two flux
- two fuel
Without magma, you need a total of 5 fuel.
