DF2014 Talk:Insanity
Does the game pause when a dwarf becomes insane? --87.163.216.83
- Only if the dwarf went Berserk, and only if it's configured to pause in Announcement settings. --Quietust (talk) 20:53, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

Dwarves that are revived from being ghosts sometimes come back cured from insanity. Not sure what exactly causes it, but remove-stress -all probably has something to do with it.
The command on its own won't cure insanity, but after I had used it, I noticed some of the dwarves that had gone berserk in my fort and subsequently turned into ghosts were reviving sane.

Using the gui/gm-editor tool you can cure any of the insanities immediately by setting their mood value to "-1 (None)". Note that the strange moods are also listed under this value, but setting those will not work. 216.46.157.72 04:46, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
