Rock crystal is a type of Gem. When combined with pearlash, it is used to make crystal glass. Some players have reported being able to buy small uncut gems, including rock crystal upon embark. It is suspected the ability to purchase rock crystals on embark is civilization dependent. Raw crystal glass is also sometimes available upon embark.
