This article is about an older version of DF.

An amulet is a trade good made at a craftsdwarf's workshop or at a metalsmith's forge under any particular category using the "Make Crafts" job. Like all crafts, it is not possible to create them specifically (e.g. to satisfy mandates) - instead, you just have to roll the dice and hope you get lucky. On rare occasions, cutting a rough gem at a jeweler's workshop will yield a gem amulet.

Once the economy activates, dwarf civilians may claim ownership of amulets and store them in their rooms (or simply leave them sitting on the floor).

In Adventurer mode, amulets can be worn on one's head, presumably competing for space with other items such as crowns and helmets.
