current task[edit]

that would be useful to reverse : list of jobs, what is each dwarf currently doing

I suspect that the two byte integer starting at offset 0xb2 and the pointer starting at 0x2b8 in the creature struct are related to the current task, but I have not done any serious testing of that. Choriamb 12:28, 21 December 2007 (EST)

Consider the (u)nit screen. Sure it also lists what pets you have, what wildlife is in the area, how many dogs the merchants are selling, etc. But I regularly use it for checking up on what everyone is doing. Now, if there were a way to check and see what dwarves currently have that job assigned, even if they're doing something else, /that/ would be useful. (I know I have another butcher around someplace... what was his name, and what task do I have to take him off of to get him to do /this/ job?!) -- jaz ... on this day, at this time.
Perfect situation for the task which DwarfManager was made for. -Edward 23:49, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
