:Also, it looks like we are organizing an effort to research and test some of the less well understood mechanics... the results of these tests could go on the new pages (therahedwig already started [http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=175195.0 a thread on ]the [[DF2014:Reputation|Reputation page]]). ::This article is way too big. It looks to me that splitting off the main sections into their own articles, except perhaps world selection, would be a good start. From there we can consider splitting off some of the subsections too. We would leave an introductory article with links to the relevant topics, yes. --[[User:Nahno|Nahno]] ([[User talk:Nahno|talk]]) 09:02, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

"Your character will have a limit on the maximum number of companions that is based on your reputation level and the Social Awareness attribute. With average social awareness and the maximum level of fame, the limit is 19 companions." Yeah, kinda bugging me honestly...shouldn't it be maximum social awareness/fame instead?
:::Copied "Gameplay" and "Character creation" sections into [[Adventurer mode gameplay]] and [[Adventurer mode character creation]]. Guess I'll wait for more experienced wiki members to find errors in categories while trying to find some myself, then this article's corresponding sections can be replaced with links to these pages. ::::Now it looks good. I think it should be like a [[Fortress mode]] article — a brief ovewview and links to corresponding sections. [[Adventurer mode gameplay]] article still needs to be splitted into smaller articles. [[User:Tankistqazwsx|Tankistqazwsx]] ([[User talk:Tankistqazwsx|talk]]) 12:11, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

== What's up with the "lesser than" sign? ==

Is this thing going to be fixed, because it bugs me to see the code coming out of nowhere from any page that might involve that specific sign, and that this could easily be fixed with a simple html code adjustment.

Does anybody got an idea as to why this can't be fixed? I'm new in this wiki, but I am an avid DF player.--[[User:It master|It master]] ([[User talk:It master|talk]]) 09:32, 21 June 2020 (UTC)it_master

* First, welcome, and thanks for caring! Wow - yep, the "keypress" template using "<" (<nowiki>{{k|<}}</nowiki>) is def broken atm (see below). Above my wiki-fu to know what's up. Happening on [[Adventure mode quick reference|other pages]] as well - I used [[User:Alef]]'s clever work-around for now (adding the code for a "number space", &#8203; , before the <). Meanwhile, when you spot something like this, be a little more specific about "where" in the article - I found it, but had to look around. All good - readya later. ;) <br><br>'''Note -  At the time of this posting, <nowiki>{{k|<}}</nowiki> displays as''': <br>{{k|<}}<br>[[User:Albedo|Albedo]] ([[User talk:Albedo|talk]]) 16:00, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
