: Caravans spontaneously leaving are completely unrelated to liaison activity. The merchants leave instantly when one of their units gets killed, either a merchant, a draft or hauling animal, or a wagon (guards don't count). Caravans spontaneously leaving are completely unrelated to liaison activity. The merchants leave instantly when one of their units gets killed, either a merchant, a draft or hauling animal, or a wagon (guards don't count).
