:I would tend to disagree. Even now, while extracts are not as fully-developed as they might be, they have varying uses (some as mere trade goods, others cause syndromes, others as cooking ingredients) vs alcohols which all have the same use. Future releases will likely expand upon extract types and uses further and lead to even greater diversity.

::Good points! Hadn't exactly thought of it in terms of future proofing, and I guess I hadn't thought about varied uses altogether too much. I think an infobox would be handy for collating at least the basic, "known to be in all extracts" information, like sourcing (plants/maggots/etc), workshop, labour, base-value...

How extract venom from live tame creatures?

Merging Extract Pages[edit]

Most extract pages seem to have the same formulaic, basic information, and it seems as if we could make a much cleaner format by taking notes from Alcohol, which redirects specific alcohol varieties to this page, and collates all the information into a single table. Would there be any support for/opposition to something like this? CalmBit (talk) 04:12, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

I would tend to disagree. Even now, while extracts are not as fully-developed as they might be, they have varying uses (some as mere trade goods, others cause syndromes, others as cooking ingredients) vs alcohols which all have the same use. Future releases will likely expand upon extract types and uses further and lead to even greater diversity.
Having said that, given their differing uses does it make sense yet to make a dedicated infobox for them? I could however see the use of a navbox on each page. Russ3Z (talk) 15:48, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

Usage can probably remain a solid part of the article, especially as extracts develop. CalmBit (talk) 16:48, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
