He wasn't all that impressive, but what made him awesome was during his first battle, he had his left eye torn out by a cougar.  He then proceeded to make all the kill listed above in just a few months.  He never recruited anyone, he killed them all entirely on his own.  See those seven wolves?  He fought them all at once, without so much as a scratch on him.

Melbil Knighthammers was a dwarf born in 137. He was of unknown parentage. Although accounts vary, it is universally agreed that Melbil was guided by forces unknown.

In the late spring of 200, Melbil began wandering the wilds.

In the midsummer of 200, Melbil was struck down by the giant desert scorpion Springlost in The Dune of Blizzards.
