: Because that would require RESET to be active when sending the ON signal - in my design, you never need to activate more than one signal at a time. Your suggestion nets a simple resettable trigger with 2 ON signals which must both be active at the same time (i.e. "ON" gets replaced with "ON & RESET"). --[[User:Quietust|Quietust]] 20:36, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Because that wouldn't actually work - all that makes is a simple resettable trigger with the "ON" signal replaced with "ON & RESET", something that's incompatible with my original design (where the ON and OFF signals must be inactive when sending a RESET). --Quietust 20:36, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
