This article is about an older version of DF.

Cloth is made at Template:L from Template:L of plant fiber, yarn/hair, or silk:

  • Template:L silk, found in underground caverns
  • Template:L silk, found in evil forests
  • Template:L silk, found near giant cave spiders
  • Template:L thread, found/grown above ground
  • Template:L thread, found/grown underground
  • Yarn/Hair thread, sheared from animals or from butchered corpses

Cloth is woven from thread. Silk is gathered as thread, but a Template:L is necessary to Process plant fiber and Spin yarn/hair into their thread forms.

Template:L bring large amounts of rope reed cloth when they arrive for trading in the spring.

One newly made piece of cloth is worth 10000 'cloth units' and a Template:L is worth 15000 units of thread, according to Template:L.

Cloth can be fashioned into Template:L or Template:Ls at a Template:L, or made into Template:Ls at a Template:L's workshop. Empty bags and Template:Ls, cloth crafts and clothing can be decorated with cloth at a craftsdwarf's workshop.

Cloth can be dyed at a Template:L.
