Beginner
If you're just getting started with Dwarf Fortress you will probably find the Template:L answers many of your questions.
However if you find that there is a question that is not covered there please try the Bay 12 Forums or, if you are encountering an error/bug/glitch that has not yet been documented please report it at the Bay 12 Bug Report Forum.
Hunting
How does hunting work in the new version? I've made a hunter, he picked up a crossbow on his own and I've assigned him ammo in the military screen and still no luck.
