Ivory is a material that can be used by other civilizations to make items and decorations, coming from creatures with the [IVORY] token.
It is not possible to obtain ivory in Fortress mode, as there is no item type for it (as there is for bones and shells).
Some dwarves can have a preference for "ivory" (not belonging to any creature in particular).
