Damn Sturgeon![edit]
Confirming that they can in fact kill low level dwarves, I lost one of my embark party dwarves to a sturgeon in a "Terrifying" surrounding setting. Granted, the Sturgeon appears to be called "Betantomus Sturgeon"... In any event, my poor mason never had a chance.--DimensionWarped 21:38, 6 December 2008 (EST)

Sturgeon seem to make major rivers unsafe for building wells. I'm getting sturgeon that can bite through a well to the poor dwarf who is getting water for an injured dwarf. The carp stay away, but the sturgeon is aggressive. And yes, they can kill low level dwarves in a few bites. -- 129.110.192.5 11:05, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
