Serious Rules[edit]
Violating these repeatedly could lead to suspension, a theoretical possibility that should never happen.
- Don't vandalize wiki pages, even though they can be recovered. This includes non-League pages.
- Discuss major changes and edits before implementing them!
- Don't intentionally ruin a succession game. Mistakes are part of DF, and losing is Fun, but intentionally ruining others' work is just wrong. Of course reverting to a previous save is always possible.
- Don't post links to sites that may contain Trojan Horses, adware, tracking bugs, viruses, explicit material, or any other questionable content without a clear warning proximate to the link.
- Don't post anyone else's email on a wiki page, or in a public forum, as this reveals it to webcrawlers and spam engines.
Preferred behavior[edit]
- Keep it clean, and in English. Some of us may have second languages, but we will only use them in private messaging.
- Avoid using Graphic tilesets when posting images to the Game page and/or its Discussion page. This is not a "RULE", but given the number of graphic sets out there it can get messy fast, and the only one none of us know is the default!
