My first successful fortress killed a dragon. I had originally planned to tame it, but it showed up after a goblin siege. All my cage traps had already been sprung. A few minutes and several dead marksdwarves later, it had fallen. I commissioned the skull to be made into a totem... Masterwork. A 6000 base value. I was impressed. Anyway, I've set myself to a higher standard. Anyone can kill a dragon with marksdwarves... But what if you killed a dragon with only wrestlers? When you can tell people that your dwarves have killed a dragon with their bare hands... that's when you've won. That's when you've won Dwarf Fortress.
