- v50 information can now be added to pages in the main namespace. v0.47 information can still be found in the DF2014 namespace. See here for more details on the new versioning policy.

Redirects[edit]
If you want to make a page accessible by more than one name (e.g. DF2012:Blacksmith or DF2010:Blacksmithing versus DF2010:Metalsmith), , create a Redirect - don't duplicate the entire page, since otherwise the wiki just ends up with multiple copies of the same page that can get out of synch. --Quietust 13:41, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Became just aware of the issue myself - thanks for noticing and fixing. Kenort 13:48, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
I've seen your fixing of my DF2012:Pump stack redirect from cv: to the current DF2012: namespace. So I presume it's generally better to redirect directly to the actual namespace rather than using the cv: syntax? --Kenort 08:33, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
- To clarify, "cv:" should only be used from the global namespace, never from within a version-specific namespace, since "cv" means "current version" - for example, it wouldn't make sense for a page in v0.31 to end up redirecting to DF2012. --Quietust 14:16, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the bedroom design[edit]
Great research on the bedroom design, the article looks nice, I haven't yet read through, though. I expected to see one particular design I saw: four 3x4 bedrooms around a staircase. I tried to google it up, but could not find it quickly enough. Anyway, how did you manage to upload the screenshots? I was trying to upload something earlier today only to find that the file upload is not available at the moment. --Nagidal 15:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, but the article wasn't that much work at all. Since there seem to be no version relevant issues, I just copied the plain text from v0.31 over to DF2012 namespace (I hope this approach is ok). I didn't need to upload the screenshots for that, as their references remained the same for the process. I don't know why the file upload is still disabled. I would recommend to contact the admin (User talk:Emi) about it. --Kenort 15:51, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
