Where can I smelt bronze bars? – unsigned comment by Trepach
Comparison to iron[edit]
Are Bronze Weapons better than iron ones? Armor? Ammunition? Please, tell me! – unsigned comment by Trepach
- Next time, read the article. Also, after you edit anything on a talk page, please put four tildes (~) after what you write. Yes, bronze is better than iron. Freya 00:00, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- I tested bronze vs iron using 6 skirmishes of 15 on 15 unskilled dwarfs. Each team had a full suit of armor and swords with metal armor stacking when applicable. The bronze group won 4 and lost 2 but all winners had heavy casualties. That one test leans slightly toward bronze being "better" but doesn't say exactly how much.Rembrandtq 07:07, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- irl bronze is supposed to be slightly heavier than iron, which would suggest that it might be better suited to bludgeoning weapons. Gigacannon 00:02, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
