Glassmaking vs. masonry
There is considerable overlap between items produced from Template:L at a Template:L, and items produced from glass at glass furnaces. Template:Lry is easier to get running and will Template:L from your fortress. Glass produces items with a higher base Template:L (unless you make your masons use flux or Template:L), and using a Template:L allows you to make green glass objects without consuming anything but dwarven labor.
