Starting with bolts at embark
When buying bolts from the "prepare for the journey carefully" screen, they come in stacks of 5. Interesting...--Albedo 05:43, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Bolt Quality
Does bolt quality have any effect on combat effectiveness? or does it just affect value? --Shabang50 17:02, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
.31.09
Need some testing with the new values to see how they work now. Richards 22:15, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Made by who?
Metal bolts are made by weaponsmiths or bowyers? --Romeofalling 04:30, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Weaponsmiths. See Template:L for full details. Probably either that info should be repeated here, or (preferably I think) this page merged with Template:L. Bognor 12:28, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Encrust Ammo
Is there any reason that you would want to encrust ammo with gems? I can only think of trading them but they are much more valuable as ammunition.--98.193.70.214 15:25, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Friendly Fire
is this an issue? e.g. if i have a melee of goblins and dwarves fighting in an enclosed space, will my marksdwarves hiding behind nearby fortifications hit, injure or kill dwarves by accident? and if so, would it still be likely to occur if the marksdwarves are trained?--DJ Devil 02:51, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- This is untested, but I believe FF is a danger. From what I can tell, DF does calculate a full trajectory for weapons, and this game doesn't pull punches. --Waladil 14:02, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
