Welcome to the Dwarf Fortress Wiki. This is a collection of user-submitted guides, information and advice for "Dwarf Fortress". Dwarf Fortress is a game for Windows, Linux and Mac, developed by Bay 12 Games featuring two modes of play, as well as distinct, randomly-generated worlds (complete with terrain, wildlife and legends), gruesome combat mechanics and ubiquitous alcohol dependency. The wiki currently has 2242 articles.


Cacame gives a human sieger and his horse the power of flight. The human politely lets his horse go first.
It has stats. It can be killed.
The latest version is v50.14, released on September 25, 2024.
