I've been following dwarf fortress for several years now.
I'm somewhat obsessed with complex water projects of truly dwarvish proportions which often runs me into cursing fits against inaccuracies on the wiki. I think the behavior of water may be one of the least understood features on dwarf fortress. It's certainly not explained well in the wiki.
