Infinite?[edit]
Is there direct evidence that lignite boulders burn indefinitely? Would they not become xwornx, xxheavily wornxx, then XXmangledXX before disappearing entirely (the way coke and charcoal do)? --Quietust 22:18, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- You may be right. I only tested my lignite grate room for about six months before sending my dwarves in to see how fast they died. More testing! JohnnyMadhouse 22:40, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- My lignite pile went to !!x(lignite)x!!. Not sure exactly how long it took, but it's been around two years since I started it burning. Presumably, lignite will degrade further if left alone. 67.184.162.45
