Feeling pain[edit]
I played as an adventurer and attacked a demon in a goblin fortress, it's a spirit of fire and after I took off some body parts it gave in to pain. The wiki at the moment says that it never does. Do they feel pain in dwarf fortress mode? Can anyone check?--Richards 16:32, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

Hot enough to melt Adamantine?[edit]
Spirits of fire have a FIXED_TEMP of 25000, the same as (raw) adamantine's melting point. Theoretically, this means they should be able to melt it, though adamantine has an incredibly high specific heat of 7500 and would thus take a very long time to melt. Further experiments would be most interesting. --Quietust 00:02, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
