Revision as of 16:35, 12 November 2010
Is the economy still present in DF2010? It did not appear (for me) when the baron was appointed.
- I'm curious about this as well, and what the process is. I'm a newcomer to DF but it sounds like DF2010 added a lot more player choice with respect to the leadership nobility. The toggle is definitely still in the init though.
- Toady said he doesn't think it'll turn on. I'll put that in the article. --174.113.156.80 20:56, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
My recent edit (Delete this section once page is properly updated)
I just want to say for the record that I "Broke" the quality rating intentionally, as what I put in is technically NOT what this page is meant to be about, just where to go for the old and possibly outdated info and how to disable the economy. Rifri98a 22:27, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
New Professions
i remember toady mention that the new professions weren't optimized for economy, so health care jobs aren't payed anything, etc.
Recent page reduction
This page is fine as a stub until the feature is implemented in DF2010. If people are interested in how it used to work they can go to the archive pages.--Mrdudeguy 00:54, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
Economy an option in the init files
Use these options to remove features from the game. Permitted values are YES and NO. Removal might speed the game up in the case of temperature and weather. [TEMPERATURE:YES] [WEATHER:YES] [ECONOMY:NO] [INVADERS:YES] [CAVEINS:YES] [ARTIFACTS:YES] [ZERO_RENT:NO] [TESTING_ARENA:YES]
