Moss is a substance which can cover floors and walls, turning them green. It is unknown whether dwarves will clean up moss, or whether traffic will destroy it like grass.
In previous versions, moss potentially appeared after a long amount of time, such as after reclaims.
Known objects subject to moss:
- Stone block constructions exposed to sunlight.
Known cases of moss occurred in the following biomes:
Moss does not seem to appear in version 0.28.181.40d - it is speculated that it was removed from the game along with undead ruins back in version 0.27.173.38a.
