The blacksmith Template:L is used to make Template:L, Template:Ls, Template:Ls, Template:Ls, Template:Ls, and Template:Ls at a Template:L. (Despite their being under the "furniture" menu of a forge, Template:Ls are made by Template:Ls, and Template:Ls are made by Template:Ls).
The Template:L that corresponds to the metalsmith skill is called blacksmithing. A dwarf whose highest skill is blacksmithing will have the Metalsmith profession.
