In DF Ages are named by how many megabeasts still live ex: Age of Myth is when most megabeasts are still alive, and by how many intelegent creatures are still alive ex: Twilight Age civilizations are dying out. | ||

Stopping at years other than 1050

I think 40d has info on that. but basicly an Age is a term used to describe a period of history ex: the Bronze Age, when humanity mostly used bronze for metal.
