Pipes, or pipe sections, are used as components in the construction of Template:Ls. You can't build pipes by themselves, nor connect them to form a conduit - to move Template:L or Template:L from one place to another, see Template:L.
Pipe sections can be manufactured from Template:L at a Template:L, from Template:L at a Template:L, or from Template:L at a Template:L. A glass pipe section is called a tube. They are Template:Ld as Template:L.
It takes 1 Template:L log or 3 Template:L bars to create a pipe section.
