Underlichen is functionally identical to cave moss and floor fungus, differing only in texture.
As with most underground grasses, underlichen only appears after a cavern containing underlichen has been discovered.
It is harmless and can be used to graze animals, like an underground form of grass. Mushrooms may occasionally grow from the lichen.
