Stronger Siegers
The goal of this section is to eventually serve as a reference for anyone who wants to change their siegers to something stronger. I'll add a race after I've played a fort with it, if you see something that should be listed as weaker/stronger, let me know on talk.
Weakest at top, strongest at bottom.
Vanilla kobolds
Vanilla elves
Vanilla humans
Vanilla goblins
Modded Orcs
Modded Terrifying goblins
Embarks
Listed here are 'rare' embark seeds. They all contain at least a brook, magma pipe, chasm/bottomless pit, flux, and HFS within a 4x4 embark. All worlds were generated with the Orc Mod and the Injured Cat fix in 40d11. The Extras column lists anything else included, such as sand (several have sand that isn't listed on embark) or if a feature is hidden. All of these have the needed layers for iron to appear, and I've seen lignite in several of my fortresses.
